Sleeping bear dunes, MI

I am planning to visit sleeping bear dunes on labor day weekend. Any ideas what to see and what to do for two days.

It's pretty laid back.

I think people mostly hike, climb on the dunes, go to the beach. We took a bunch of scenic drives in that area when we were in Traverse City, but it might be a little crowded to do that over Labor Day.

Where are you staying? Camping? Hotel?

Take a drive up around the Leelanau Peninsula.

Any suggestions what to see and where to go in West Virginia, Virginia. I love hiking in the mountains. I will be going there next summer. What campgrounds are nice to stay in?
Sincerely,
Inga

Mikinga, that is considered hijacking and a little rude when you tack a complete different question to someone else question. Like blurting into an ongoing conversation between two people.

I am so sorry for being rude. I will start a new thread with Virginia and WV.
Sincerely,
Inga

Inga: Don't worry, you weren't rude, it is just that you will get more relevant response w/ a thread tagged for the right state(s).
