Skydiving on Oahu, Hawaii
 

Happy Easter everyone. Just have a quick question for those not too busy to trawl Fodors!
My daughter and I (with respective partners) will be celebrating 'significant' birthdays on Oahu in September. My daughter is very keen to skydive whilst we are there.
Does anyone have any particular recommendations or places to steer clear of?

I saw your question and have spent a bit of time vacationing on Oahu. I can't recall ever seeing skydiving advertised among the many tourist activities... like parasailing, helicopter rides, surf lessons, catamaran cruises, etc.

But I would be wrong ;-)

Out of curiosity I just put "skydiving on Oahu" in a Google search, and a bunch of providers popped up.

Thanks suze, there appear to be two main players: Skydive Hawaii and Pacific Skydive. Just wondered if anyone had personal experience of either, long wait times seem to be the bigggest complaint.

If no one else answers here, you can check over on Trip Advisor. There's an active Honolulu/Waikiki forum there, maybe someone will know.
