Skiing with young children

Any suggestions for the most "child friendly" ski resorts in the Rockies. Children are ages four and two.

Steamboat has been voted best for families by Family Circle Magazine and Skiing Magazine. Great children's program!

Thanks for the info! I'll check into it!

Crested Butte has a great program for children and is a beautiful place to visit (and ski). Its not as crowded as the front range ski resorts and the instructors are first class.

Thanks for the advice Paul.

Steamboat would be a good resort, as is Winter Park. Both have a variety of trails. Steamboat is pretty far away from Denver, you can fly into their small airport - but it is pricey$$
All of the resort in Summit County, CO would also be good choices (with the acception of A-Basin) and are close to Denver. You can get a Vail pass and ski Vail, Breck, Keystone with the same pass.
Have fun. We were at both Steamboat and Winter Park doing some mt. biking this summer. Can't wait to get back when it is snowy!!!

Greg:

Go to Big Sky, MT. The Ski School is great, huge mountain, great snow, no crowds! Also, plan a trip to Yellowstone in the snowcoach or snowmobile to see the wildlife and thermal activity. Go before mid March however.
