Skiing next week?

Thinking about going skiing for a few days leaving on the 3rd or 4th next week. Not sure where to go. Looks like Big Sky will be having snow. Has anyone been there lately? Should we stick to Utah? Need to make reservations soon since air seats are about full. Thanks for the help.

I'm in Colorado and we have had an amazing ski season, with consistent snowfall nearly everywhere. The southwest, especially Durango, has been pounded with snow this year. It has been warm this week, but snow is predicted for tonight and tomorrow.

If you come to Colorado, you will be assured of having a nice deep base. New snow is always unpredictable this time of year, though, and we have tons of Springbreakers on the ski hills this week.

Maybe it's better to go north to Big Sky next week, for better chance of snowy weather?

Skiing here in SW Colorado is grand! DH is just walking out the door to ski Telluride and friends just skiied Durango and said it was great too. Great snow, beautiful weather in town - sunny and mid 60's.

Come on over!

Utah is awesome too and the snowpack at the Cottonwood Canyon resorts hasn't even started to melt yet. It's still building up and we are supposed to have a storm tonight and tomorrow.

Spring skiing at the Park City areas is the best it's been in years.

Can't go wrong in the Rockies this spring. Bring the sunscreen!

We haven't been to Big Sky, but we've been elsewhere in MT (last week and we'll go again next week). The snow is good.

Thanks for the replies. There seems to be a lot of places to stay in Big Sky with the VRBO site. Has anyone used any of them?
