Skiing in November of 05

I was wondering what the average snowfall for Park City was for the month of november. I live in NYC and was wondering if there are enough trails open thanksgiving week to make it woth while. I know Deer Vally opens in Dec. Thanks

Hi N,

Most of the ski resorts in Utah plan openings for the weekend before Thanksgiving. They will open earlier is snow cover allows. Deer Valley is the only one that opens late.

The last 2 years, we have had awesome skiing in November. Lots of early snow!

If there are not enough runs at Park City and the Canyons to keep your interest, you can be at Snowbird, Alta, Solitude, Brighton, Snowbasin all within 40 - 60 minutes drive from Park City.

Did you realize this was posted in the Europe forum? You might have better luck if you post it on the US forum

I found this on the US, not the Europe, forum.
