ski trip over xmas

My family normally takes an annual spring ski trip. This year we're unable to do that so we're looking at going over Christmas break. Does anyone have any suggestions of ski resorts that might still be relatively uncrowded at Christmas time?

We always go to Killington, VT for Xmas - the weekends are usually crowded but not over crowded. It's great at Christmas time !!

Crested Butte, Colorado, is beautiful at Christmas, and relatively uncrowded. Probably because it's a bit of a drive from Denver. Or you can fly into Gunnison, then drive the 30 minutes or so to Crested Butte. It's a beautiful mostly-Victorian Colorado mining town, complete with horse-drawn sleighs on its main streets. Can't get more Christmas-y than that!

I agree with Maureen. Love Crested Butte.

The United States is a pretty big place. Are you willing to travel anywhere??

We love Mont Tremblant. The pedestrian village is beautiful at Christmas. Reservations are not easy to come by. ALL ski centers are busy at Christmas.
