Ski Seanson Ends
 

Colorado ski season finally ended today when Arapaheo Basin closed today. They had tried to last until July 4th but just too hot.

Sometimes you just have to say no!! Hope the snow melt helps the drought.

Not all's lost - year round skiing on Mt Hood outside of Portland, Oregon.

The snow melt from most of the ski resorts goes to California so it is no help for SE Colorado.

When weather is like summer in town, I don't know anyone who still wants to ski in June.
It's a novel idea, I guess, and people want to try it, but snow conditions are usually abyssmal. Most real skiers I know, take a pass on late spring skiing.
