Ski lessons suggestion
Need suggestions on ski lessons for a large group(12) at Copper Mtn. Are there any other options than the standard lessons/fees charged by the resort? Perhaps private lessons? I'm trying to keep our cost down.

You might qualify for a group rate, other than that there usually aren't any deals on lessons. Private lessons will cost more than group lessons.

Group lessons, especially if know people in the group, can be fun. Try the half day lesson(s) and see how that works.

Dan try posting this on www.epicski.com there a quite a few Copper instructors that post there.

I just have to tell you that after years of taking group ski lessons (to no avail) I paid for an all day private lesson at Copper Mountain last year and am skiing blue runs this year. I personally found it to be much more effective than group lessons, and yes the price was at a premium (approx $300+) but I finally LEARNED to conquer my fears, ski and enjoy it. It's up to you, but multiple group lessons did nothing for me.

The problem with group lessons is that you can stand around a lot unless you get an instructor who keeps everyone moving. Another alternative is semi-private lessons.
