Site not working properly

Tried to respond to a couple of posts but failed. Wanted to see if posting a new message would work. Seems like the site has had nothing but problems since registration started.

You should have tried using it before registration! Troubles do indeed crop up frequently. I fear you have no alternatives but to get used to it or to go elsewhere.

Anybody who thinks there have been MORE problems since registration started, either was never here before or else was sleeping though those days.

OK, it is at least fixed temporarily and we're in the midst of a sugar-coated little "love fest" for this "editor" who is moving on...meanwhile, as the site breaks down again and deprives the soap opera lovers of recreational opportunities....

This current problem has only been going on for >1 week.

Patrick
Actually, I was here long before registration. The problems that I am talking about are with the way the site itself works (or doesn't work) since registration, not the posts.

As to the latter, all the furor they generated among those who dominate this board didn't really affect me. I sometimes found the "offensive" posts funny. As to the more mean spirited ones, I simply ignored them, something others apparently couldn't do. Of course that may be because I never made myself a target for such posts.

My comment is simply that the site breaks down a lot more and, even when it is running, is a lot slower than before. As a user, I don't think there is anything wrong with telling the editors that.

Since we can no longer blame Danny, let's blame The Tooth Fairy!

Or maybe invent a Fodoorth Fairy?

Well I admit that I had to log in again since the site doesn't seem to be recognizing cookies these days... but this is an extremely user friendly site. I've been to others where you have to drill deep and far just to track user responses. It is perhaps the sophistication of the Fodors site that is its downfall. Hopefully they can get it back up to speed soon. It really is one of the better organized sites around. BTW make sure to copy your replies before trying to reply so they don't get lost.
