Sister is home safely from London!

I know this is the US forum, but people here have been wishing me well, so I want to fill you in.
I just spoke to my sister. She flew from Prague to Heathrow and then from Heathrow to Philadelphia today. She said they were lucky enough to have an early flight in from Prague so immigration at Heathrow hadn't backed up yet.
Her flight to Phila. left the gate about 40 minutes late and they were told they were fourth in line for take off. Then the captain came on and told them they had to pull off the tarmac because they wete waiting for clearance from the US authorities. They sat there for two hours and 45 minutes!!!. My sister couldn't say enough about how wonderful British Airways was. They started serving them drinks right away and kept them apprised of the situation. She said they could not have been nicer. She also said that Heathrow was very organized and running well.
Then she got to good old Philadelphia Airport. It took her an hour and a half to get through immigration here and the airport was a mess. She was wondering how things can run so smoothly at Heathrow and be so chaotic here.
Thanks again for all your good wishes!
