When deciding where to stay in Santa Barbara I came across the Simpson House. I was shocked at the cost per night of some of the rooms: $550.!!!! I love luxury vacations but that sounds way over the top for a b+b. Don't you think? I think you can do much better price wise and still stay in a great place.IMHO.

Simpson House is the ONLY B and B in North America to be awarded the AAA 5 diamond award. It's definitely as great as the website!

It is extremely expensive for a B&B - That is why I'm asking. Either it is a rip-off or it must be pretty special. I agree r, it would seem better, luxurious deals should be found. Just curious.
