Silverton lodging

Does anyone have any recommendations for lodging in Silverton, Colorado? Would like a clean room, private bath at less than $100. That particular combo seems tricky in Silverton. Help Please!

How about this one:

tellerhousehotel.com

A real gem! Only about 9 or 10 rooms, of which only a couple have private baths. But if you book early enough, perhaps you can nab one of those. Their website has nice photos too.

Don't forget a jeep ride!

There is a Best Western and Comfort Inn in Ouray.

Triangle Motel. I stayed there once about 2 years ago. Room was quite small and nothing fancy, but very clean & functional, staff was friendly.

clk..I am topping a trip report on Ouray. Not far from Silverton and much nicer place to stay the night.

Thanks for the info everyone! Tried Teller House and unfortunately they were all booked...some kind of jeep weekend. Did get a room at the Grand Imperial...third floor...no elevator. Guess we'll get a little history and a little exercise as well! Then we're off to the Ouray Hot Springs motel.

Thanks for the update. It is nice to see! So many folks post Q's and never come back to let poster know what they ended up doing [or even come back to see what answers were left for them, which is unfortunate because most folks on here take a lot of time and effort to post replies].<Sorry, stepping off soapbox....>

Hope you have a great time!
