Sightseeing with elderly parents
I will be in DC for a conference and I am bringing my elderly parents. They will lounge and read by the pool at the Omni Shoreham during the day and we will have dinner together at night. I would like to spend an afternoon touring with them, but walking is a real issue for my father. Does anyone have any ideas? I was thinking about a duck tour. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Take one of the monument night lights tour.....any of the Greyhound type tours are nice and you don't have to get out of the van/bus...can always arrange with the concierge for a private van to take you all around to any of the sites...eat at the roof of the Hotel Washington...also, The Willard is wonderful for dinner, can even eat in the bar or lobby, casual.

Thanks so much for the suggestions. The marina and boat back sound excellent. I'll do some research. The other suggestions are wonderful as well. I'll look into all of them.
Thanks again,
Cheryl
