Siesta key - restaurants within 2/3 miles

could anyone help please, as there will be three generations of our family visiting Orlando & Siesta key next Spring & would like some advice on restaurants. & I am lactose intolerant & our younger grand daughter aged 11 is a fussy eater! I can always request no dairy, but there needs to be a good choice for Emily. Not too expensive, but in a medium price range.
Hope I am not asking too much & would love to hear your ideas.

I'm not sure what you're asking?

What does Emily like?

There are dozens of restaurants within 2/3 miles of Siesta Key and just as many on Siesta Key. Majority are reasonably priced and most would satisfy your needs.

We have to know what your and your GD preferences are before suggesting few places.

Sorry about that, really just looking for good restaurants within 2/3 miles that have a good menu & aren't fast food places, but not too expensive.

Siesta Key -

Siesta Village has ~10 restaurants all within 2-3 blocks, so very much walkable. The best, IMHO, is JoTos, a Japanese Steakhouse, the most casual is Old Salty Dog with the usual Hamburger and seafood menu. All the other restaurants fit somewhere in between. Most have outdoor deck sitting and are very family friendly.

South Bridge area - about 2 miles south of the village. There are about 5 more restaurants to chose from.

South end of the key - another 3 miles or so, has few more.

On the mainland

North bridge - you probably have about 20 restaurants within a mile radius. Pizza, Chinese, English Pub, great steakhouse, etc.

South bridge - same as the north bridge area.

Downtown Sarasota - about 5 miles north of SK, has dozens of restaurants. Every imaginable cuisine.

Don't worry about finding a place(s) that will fit your needs. Just wait till you get here. Ask around and pick up the local papers for ads and reviews/recommendations.

Thanks AA, we are at Midnight Cove near Stickneys bridge. I know that there are lots of restaurants, but it is nice to have a few recommendations, as we haven't been for a few years!
Before there was just my husband & myself, so didn't really have to consider anyone else. We are really looking forward to visiting again & hopefully finding some bargains in your shops, should the pound continue to rise against the dollar, but you never know.

thanks again Diane
