Shuttle Service to IAD
 

Can anyone recommend a shuttle service from NW DC to IAD? I would prefer not to use Super Shuttle. Thanks!

The Airport Shuttle appears to serve only passengers going between the airports and Maryland locations, not DC or Virginia.

Yes, it looked that way and they had quite high prices-- $99 for 2 people from Chevy Chase, MD to IAD. An absurd price since one can take a taxi for about $50-$60. I am surprised that Super Shuttle has the market locked for DC. We've had a couple bad experiences with Super shuttle and they require a pick-up 4.5 hours in advance of an International flight so I would like to use another company. Hope someone has another suggestion. thanks

Why not just take a taxi if you don't like the shuttle and don't want to go so early?

That may be what we do. Just figured we could save a few bucks with the shuttle, but it's probably not worth it. I often leave from my workplace in MD and there are many shuttles, reasonable price-wise and don't have ridiculous pick-up times. Thought DC would offer the same. Thanks!
