Shuttle service from Honolulu airport
 

I forgot to pick the Hawaii header for this so here I go again. Does anyone know of a shuttle service from Honolulu airport out to the Kahala Mandarin? $30.00 seems a bit pricey for a taxi. We are only renting a car for a day because we have already been to Oahu. Thanks for your help.

call the hotel concierge. I can't believe that they would not help you with this. The $30 dollars might be worth the taxi it takes a long time to drop off everyone at their hotels in Waikiki and your hotel is beyond that. It is usually $30 into waikiki I would think a jaunt out to the Mandarin would be $45. Also the rates you get on a shuttle to Waikiki are about 10-15 per person. If you have more than 2 people there is your cab fare . Hotel might have some deals on car rentals/room packages. You really want a car unless you know you don't want to leave the hotel and you can't know that if you have not seen the area. IMHO anyway!

$30 sounds reasonable. It's usually $20+ from the airport into Waikiki. What I find interesting is that you're staying at the Kahala but worried about spending $30 for a cab ride???

there is a shuttle service called VIP that is approx $10-$12 return depending on the time you need the service.

All the shuttles run about $8-$12/person<BR>If there are 2 of you, get the cab.
