Haven't seen it, but I can report that it got fairly good reviews. ....good, not great!

We have tickets for April. I hope it runs for that long. I've read numerous other shows are closing after the holidays.

Yep, this recession is really having a negative effect on the survival of shows.

The theatre critic for the Washington Post, Peter Marks, gave it a fairly negative review:

fairly negative? He downright insulted everything about the show (with the exception of Sutton Foster).

Followup comment on the reviews: This morning's NY TImes said that the reviews were mixed.....That Washington Post review clearkt indicates that all the critics definitely didn't like it.

it was cute and the effects were clever. Casting was really good. Not a show you come out needing to buy the soundtrack, though.

went with a bunch of high school kids who really enjoyed it.

unfortunately, we sat in the nosebleed section; the view was fine, but closer up would have given us a much better feel for the costumes and sets.

sorry, wrong art form. Not soundtrack.... cast album, i guess.
