Should there be a separate board for Hawaii and Disney?

Maybe it's just a seasonal thing.

Well, we do seem to be overrun by Hawaii and Disney threads all of a sudden.

Bet

YES, YES, YES, YES................
Reason-- If I were seeking info about either place it would be great to have it all in one location AND if not interested would not clog up the regular board..

I think there should be a separate board for Disney and Hawaii. While it's not that big of a deal to scroll past the titles, a lot of space *is* taken up concerning those 2 locations in particular. Seems it would be a win-win situation for those seeking information and those who get tired of seeing all the questions about the locations.

Absolutely...and this is not the first or second time I've put my two cents in on this...yes, yes, yes. Why won't Fodor's pay attention!!!

Anyone wanting info on Disney travel should go to Family.com and go to the Disney Travel Corner. The people on that site are Disney fanatics and can answer any question, as they've "been there, done that" many, many times.

Fodors tried separate boards last summer, but returned to current format after numerous complaints about the decreased traffic on the USA board. Turned out that the Disney and Hawaii posters also answered questions on other places in the USA, but stopped using the general USA board when their specific boards were created.

No way, it would reduce the number of posts, and then we would be stuck with "is Wisconsin Dells worth it?" posts.

As soon as Florida and Hawaii leave the union they should have their own board. There are lots of questions about NY and Broadway shows too. There are also tons of Napa/Sonoma questions. Why separate Disney and Hawaii? If you don't have a response or you are not interested in the answers you might want to skip those. There are plenty of other posts.

Though I'm not interested in Hawaii or Disney at this point, I think I should
those topics should stay here. Suzie is right that there are a lot of NYC posts, too that people aren't interested in.
I would much rather see the "polling" questions (which is the best city to live in? How much do you tip a maid ?
(OOPS-sorrry for even bringing that one up)) put on another board. Its not that those aren't interesting or useful, but they aren't "on topic" By the way, people seem to post Mexico questions here too (rather than the not very active Latin America board)and those really don't belong here

oh yeah Aug 13th, 2001 08:53 AM

ABSOLUTELY!!!!
Please organize the posts by specific regions, or at least give the most popular ones their own. Hawaii should definately have one.
