you asked a simple question, i'm sorry u have to endure such scrutiny and abuse.
start off travelling slowly, bang around somewhere for a week, puerto rico is close, cheap and americans are free to travel w/ no restrictions. if you are a single woman, take it slow or aggressive foreigners may ruin your happy time.
or, simply go for a summer trip somewhere, no need to rush. make sure your mind is stable (lightly speaking) or else travelling to a foreign country can feel like the rug is being pulled out from under you.
ignore mean people, they are everywhere, sadly
