Should I go to Key West in March?

Hey guys,
Me and a few friends from law school are planning on heading to key west for spring break. We're all in the 24-28 range. Anyway just wondering what you guys thought of Key West as a place to go for spring break. We're looking for a place with a great nightlife but not as crazy a crowd or as young a crowd as places like Panama City, Daytona, etc. Thanks for the advice.
Mario

Key West can get pretty wild and crazy but it is so much fun. All ages enjoy Key West and the night life is great. Go and have fun. You will find many people your age and older there.

Unless I'm mistaken, the primary month for spring breakers in Key West is April. Having said that, it's still a great place for people of all ages and always has a laid-back party atmosphere. You'll love it!

Cancun is a great spring break destination, but the crowd may be on the younger side ... i was there at 19 and had a blast, met both younger and older. if you go to key west, check out the snorkelling outfit adventure charters, it's on a small catamaran (16 people max) for $25 half day: 1-888-817-0841 BYOB and snacks. also, for oysters, go to Half Shell Royal Bar on the water at Land's End Marina. :)

Susan-Spring Break runs from Mid-March to around mid-April. You will find college students in KW in March and April. While KW is a great place for spring break it is more laid back than Panama City or other destinations and KW is trying to calm it down a bit because of the influx of cruise ships.

you can tell if it's going to be a wild crowded weekend by the prices. they go up and down with events. KW is always fun, fairly wild and colorful but when there are special events it's almost unmanageble and difficult to find a room. It's a different crowd from Cancun and Daytona. More alternative lifestyle, laid back, casual, and all ages.

I went to Key West this past March. Outside of crowds on the streets at night being a bit younger, Key West didn't really seem to be that much different than any other time of the year that I have been there. We stayed at the Heron House where there was not a spring breaker to be found. It was a block off of Duval St. in the center of town. So you might try to stay someplace a bit more upscale or not so close to the Ocean if you are looking for a more quiet, relaxed vacation. Go and enjoy!
