if you have 500 that you dont care about<BR>go.. we splurged and it was not 5 times better than the fancy french restaurant<BR>that one could find anywhere...although the 300 dollar bottle of wine was perfect...

and that $300 bottle of wine was only about $100-150 (at the most)in a store.

I agree with the others, don't waste your money just to say you went. Spend it on 5 good meals elsewhere.

Buy a bottle of Mad Dog 20/20, go to McDonalds and get a couple of Big Macs and enjoy...anyone that spends $500 for a meal and $300 for a bottle of wine is just plain NUTS! And before you start moaning about people that gripe about this subject, let me tell you that I can well afford to spend that kind of money, but I refuse to do so. It is not the issue of having the money, it is the stupidity of spending it on that trivial matter.
