short-term parking at JFK
Hi - am trying this for the first time so was just looking for some quick advice. I live in Hoboken and am flying from JFK tomorrow morning and returning Sunday afternoon. I want to park short-term. Are there typically problems at JFK with the short-term lots being full? Just want to make sure I am prepared. I'm flying in/out of Terminal 3 on Delta, so I guess that's the green lot? Appreciate any quick advice! Thanks.

Sorry you didn't get your info. Here's the page with parking info
http://www.panynj.gov/aviation/jgrpfram.htm Shortterm is only for less than 24 hrs as I understand it. You wouldn't want to pay those prices for longer. Avistar is a private lot that has 24 hr. shuttle service. If you look for their website there should be a coupon or discount so it costs the same as the airport field. |
If the Green lot is full you can easily use Long Term parking
The AirTrain shuttle gets you from Long term parking to terminal 3 in less than 10min. Very handy, and at $10/day it's a bargain. Never seen it full either. |
Thanks both - no problems with the green lot...just what I was looking for.

Where do they have parking at JFK for $10 a day?
|
JFK long term parking is $10/day. It's at the Lefferts Blvd stop on the Howard Beach AirTrain, 2 stops from Term1.
Follow road signs to Long Term Parking when you first get to JFK from the VanWyck. |
Oh okay, I never knew they were that cheap. When I fly out of Islip long term parking is about $10 or $12 so I would think JFK would be a lot more.

As of Nov.1, parking at JFK long-term lots is $15/day.
