Shops for tweens in NYC

We are taking 2 girls (10 year olds) to Manhattan for their birthdays. We are looking for some suggestions of some cool stores to check out while we are there. We will probably be mainly in midtown, but plan on going to Canal St., Soho and the UWS. We don't want it to be a shopping trip per se, but want to take the girls for some goodies, without having to spend a whole lot of time (and money!) in the shops.

Already on the list and/or suggested:
Toy R Us Times Square
FAO
NBA store
American Girl
Dylan's
So Good
Girl Props

Thanks!

For tee shirts, jeans and accessorites try H&M on 34th ST. There's also an Old Navy there which is huge, and I know you have one probably in a local mall, but might be worth a stop.

Since they are tweens, a good place to shop for inexpensive jeans/tees/sweaters/summer clothing is Conway also on 34th ST. Tees will be $2-$3 jeans $5ish.

Have a great time while you are here.

Definitely take them to any one of the Ricky's locations across town. Complete cosmetic emporium with lots of funny and girly accessories:

If they're into Hello Kitty, there's a Sanrio store in Times Square at 233 West 42nd Street.
