Shopping in San Francisco
Going to San Fran and I've heard about a 'warehouse' district where the shopping is good and cheap! Can you tell me where this is and what I might find there?
Also, does anyone know if the San Fran Chinatown sells the knock offs like NYC? |
I live in SF--I've never heard of the warehouse district (that is not to say it does not exist). Chinatown does not have a lot of designer knockoffs.

Kikahead, the "warehouse district" is that area south of Market with the outlets, somewhere in the 3rd and Bryant area. Try to search for SF outlet shopping on Google, it may bring up a list of stores. Haven't been there in ages, so can't advise.
And I heard there is a tour bus taking tourists for this kind of shopping. |
Like by the old Esprit? Ah, I didn't realize. I should check it out instead of driving all the way to Gilroy to get my outlet fix!
|
I don't know how many outlets are actually there. The only ones that I know of are The North Face and Georgiou. I never got the feeling there was a whole gamut of shops.

2 words that Mrs Kal uses to strike fear in my heart: JEWELRY MART!
ARRGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! :`( |
"Outlet Mall" is the phrase that strikes fear in my heart. I get tired just thinking about trapsing through shop after shop, looking through rack after rack of merchandise in search of deals. I am usually good for about 3, maybe 4 stores, but then I get cranky. When I have to shop, I go with a list. When I have checked off everything, I split.

Hahaha.
While I love going to Yountville, I'd love it more if I could figure a short cut AROUND the Napa Outlets! <I know there is such a route-just a feeble attempt at humor once again at Mrs Kal's expense> |
