Sheraton Wild Horse Pass in Phoenix

Has anyone stayed there yet or seen it? It supposedly opened on October 1st. Very interested in the pool area and asitability for children. Do you think $239 is a good rate for Easter week? Thanks.

suitability. Anyone?

Nina, I suppose you haven't gotten any responses because this resort has only been open a short time. I haven't been there but will tell you it is south of Phoenix and is suppose to be nice. As far as rates goes I am not sure because several huge resorts have opened in the area and pricing is still shaking out. No one is really sure how many people will be traveling this winter.

Check Flyertalk.com. There is a forum for Starwood. I think I saw a negitive post on the pool.

Don't know if you're aware that this hotel is not really near the things most people want to see or do, if they're on vacation. It's next door to the Indian Casino, right off of a highway, but it is by no means a touristy location.

Thanks, I'll check flyertalk. The only thing we want to see in Phoenix is Taiesan West. We're just spending a few days poolside after going to Sedona, Page and the Grand Canyon. Looking for a nice resort to hang around and relax for a few days after some hardcore hiking and sightseeing.
