Sheraton New York
 

We have reservations thru our company (business travel) to stay at the Sheraton Hotel & Towers at 811 Seventh Ave. Any input?

This is a good business hotel in a good location. I wish they'd do something about all the cigar smoke in the lobby, but otherwise I've always been happy.

It's one of New York's larger hotels--popular with business travelers and conventioneers and conveniently located on Seventh Avenue, spanning the black from 52nd to 53rd Streets. Very close to Times Square, the theater district, Rockefeller Center, Fifth Avenue shopping, subways, tons of restaurants, etc., etc., etc.

Hmmm, My girlfriend and I are going to New York for a long weekend as a Mother's Day gift from our husbands. We got reservations at the sheraton towers because of the great rate. ($179. a night)Is it going to be filled with business people?

Not on the weekend. Wish I could get a rate like that for week-day business trips! It kills my travel budget when we have to stay over in NYC...
