Sheraton Nashua Hotel
 

Just wondering if anyone has stayed at the Sheraton Nashua Hotel in New Hampshire and if so is it a good quality hotel?

It looks like a castle and is right off Rt. 3. You can't walk anywhere from it; it's very near a busy section of Nashua called the Daniel Webster Highway which is full of malls and the usual stores. I believe it is the only hotel of its size in Nashua and it has conference space, so I believe it is fairy busy. I stayed there a few years ago, and it was just fine.

It does, indeed, look like a castle in the countryside. The landscaping is gorgeous and there's a beautiful duck pond out front.

If you'll have a car, be sure to check out some of the extraordinary fine dining in "downtown" Nashua - Michael Timothy's, Surf, Skol, just to name a few. Martha's Exchange is a terrific casual place, with a lively bar scene. The "Main Street" is charming and most restaurants have tables set outdoor in the nice weather.

The above posters are correct. It is a decent quality Sheraton. Don't make a long distance phone call from your room though unless you want to give away your first born to pay for it. Perhaps I'm being a bit unfair as many hotels seem to take advantage of this lately.

I'm with Craig. Use your cellphone, use a calling card and the pay phone in the lobby, or, if you just have to use the phone in your room, call your party and have them call you right back.

Not only are phone charges outrageous in hotels these days, you can hardly decipher the rate chart, there are surcharges on top of the rates, and mistakes on your bill when you check out. And, beware of phoning over and over again when there is no answer or a busy signal - you get charged for those calls as well most places.

It's an okay Sheraton at best. It needs to be cleaned up and it still doesn't have the nice sleep number beds. However, it is one of the best hotels in Nashua...although that isn't saying much.
