Sheraton Bradley airport hotel is being taken over by WHO?

I love this hotel and am a starwood member. I have heard that another hotel chain has purchased this hotel inside the airport at Bradley in CT. Would love to hear what hotel chain since this is a very convenient hotel for early flights.

Have you tried calling the hotel directly and asking?

Only about half of the hotel mergers or sales ever happen. They always fall apart on the table.

I did try to call the hotel directly. They didn't know anything, but, they may find out by the end of June. I am interested to see what hotel will be there.

Who did you hear this from?

The employees usually know from the getgo because corporate people from both companies spend much time in the hotel. It is no big secret among the employees.

Are you sure? Maybe the company that owns it is just changing the flag.

One company may have Hyatts, Marriotts, Holiday Inns, etc.

On the starwood website, it states that this hotel is leaving the starwood system 8/7/06. I was disappointed.

The hotel is owned by Konover Properties and it sounds like they are just going to manage it themselves and aren't going to reflag.

It will probably be named the Bradley Airport Hotel or something close.

Thanks for the information. I wonder if they have a frequent guest program like starwood.

I checked the Konover website. They mention the Sheraton Bradley on the front page but not about any name changes. I really hope they have a frequent stay program and their park, ride and fly prices are competitive.
