SFO or OAK?
We will be flying to San Francisco for St. Louis Cardinals vs SF Giants.
Would it be better to fly into Oakland or SFO. We will probably take Transit to our hotel and to the game. What would you do? ~~ A Traveling Tennessee Family |
Does price or schedule differ? That would decide it for me.

Depends where your hotel is. If your hotel is downtown or anywhere along the BART line, they both connect so I would go with whichever is cheaper/more convenient

I live near the ballpark, and I fly from whichever one has the best schedule/cost ratio.
|
As te others say - the airport make no real difference . . . the flights schedule, fares, and location of your hotel are more important.

We chose OAK. Southwest Airlines rates cannot be beaten!
I am unsubscribing to this Thread. No more posting is necessary. Thanks, guys, and gals! You are the best! ~~TN Cricket |
I prefer Oakland because of it being a much smaller airport. I just think less can go wrong than at SFO.
|
True. Oakland is a nice, small airport. We have used it, because we also fly Southwest.
