SFO Airport Transportation Suggestions

We have decided not to rent a car for a 3day stay in SF but need transportation from the airport to Ritz-Carlton. Rather than take the Bart or Shuttle can someone recommend a company that has town cars for this service. Yes, they are many on the internet but I'd love to get a recommendation from someone that has recently had a good experience. I see rates vary so much it is hard to tell. Thank you!!!

Just take a cab. That is what I do whenever I don't use BART.

Since it is our 25th anniversary I wanted to make it a bit nicer than a cab but not the whole limo routine either. Still hoping for a company recommendation. Thanks

I think the reason you're not getting many responses is that car services are not the norm here -- not like NY, where they are ubiquitous.

Call the Ritz and find out who they use.

Thanks for the idea...Ritz-Carlton can arrange the pickup at the airport through Carey Limo, the company they use. Important anniversary trip so we want it to go flawless and enjoy a little extra than usual!

Carey Limo IS a limo service. Not sure what your distinction between "car service:" and "whole limo routine " is. Carey is one of the most expensive services here.

We usually use execucar or SF Rides.

Maybe we are getting a better rate through the hotel, and yes it is still expensive but not as much as other companies I got quotes from. It is a "limo" service but they offer town cars for 2 people rather than for 6 or more which is what I think if as a "limousine" but technically you're right.
