SFO Airport Long Term Parking
I'm about to leave for a long trip and I have to leave my car at the airport. According to SFO's web site, their long term parking is $15.00 a day. Is there anywhere else to park a car that won't end up costing more than the trip itself?

Some of the hotels in the area used to have a stay one night and park for free deal. Maybe someone knows of one.

Try the Best Western El Rancho Inn. 1-800-826-5500. The have park service. They have gone up recently, but I think they are still better than SFO.

"Park Shuttle and Fly" offer long term parking at lower rates. They give discounts for AAA, seniors etc. You drive in, park and the have a free shuttle that picks you up right at your car and drops you off at your terminal. Does the same thing on your return. Cost should not be more than $10.00 /day.

drive like a tourist, not a local. there are a number of shuttles to the airport available from almost everywhere in the bay area. drive to a parking garage nearby a major hotel and take the shuttle. the hotel doesn't mind and the shuttle service is just as happy to take extra passengers. for details on times and locals, the information booth at SFO can be called, or try the nearest chain hotel to your house. it usually adds 15 - 25 minutes to the drive, but is a fraction of the price.
