SFO airport hotel

Hi,

I'm currently looking into booking an airport hotel for my trip into San Francisco.

I've narrowed it down to :

- Radisson SFO (cheapest... ahum, not so incredibly expensive is more accurate)
- Westin SFO
- Holiday Inn SFO (most expensive).

Any special comments ?

Most important for me is a clean, quiet room where I can get a good nights rest. Don't care about pools or fitness...

Any preference ?

For the moment, the price difference is
making me lean towards the radisson.

Guy
Hi Guy,

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn San Mateo in February .It is a good hotel with an hourly shuttle service to SFO, no aircraft noise, pool and fitness room, journey time was around 10-15mins ( there is a courtesy phone after baggage cllaim and the bus was there in 15 mniutes)
The rate was good ($79 inc breakfast at the weekend)
Regards
Gregory

Alohaaa,
I went thru Priceline for a stay at SFO on 7-9 and bid $45 for a room at a 3* hotel and got the Hyatt!
Good luck.

We've stayed at both the Westin and Radisson SFO and both are nice but the Hyatt for $45 can't be beat.
Kal

Guy, according to www.biddingfortravel.com, these are the 3-star SFO hotels that Priceline uses:

The Westin San Francisco Airport
Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport
Sheraton Gateway San Francisco Airport Hotel
Doubletree Hotel San Francisco Airport
Marriott San Francisco Airport
Park Plaza Hotel San Francisco

Why don't you submit a $45 bid and see what you get. If you want to do a little research first, go to www.biddingfortravel.com and scroll down to hotels. Click on California then click on San Francisco hotels. There's also a list there of the 2-star hotels that Pl uses at SF0. I do not work for PL or BFT.

Good luck

Hey Guy:

I travel to SF often. I have stayed at numerous SF airport hotels. I use hotelres.com and go for the best rate! There are some very nice properties on that site. Beats Priceline when you know the price and property up-front!
JOHN

Go for the cheapest--they're all pretty much alike.
