Serendipity 3

My teenage daughters have been begging to go to Serendipity since last December for frozen hot chocolate. Is it worth the trip or just another tourist stop?

I would say it's worth it-- at least once. The frozen hot chocolate is SOOOOOOOOOOO good! The prices are pretty high, so you might just plan on having a dessert--there are several other yummy options if you don't want the frozen hot chocolate. My husband and I went in June and really enjoyed our desserts there; it was a meal in and of itself!

Mimi, unless things have changed in the past 9 months, the boutique was all by the front door as you walk in. The entire upstairs is tables now.
It is also very noisy up there when full.
I think Serendipity is always worth it.
The scene of my first "date" with the Yankee, my daughters 3rd birthday, my baby boys first birthday when all the waiters stood around our table and sang ( waiters at Serendipity are unique and wonderful and all sing and dance well )
We have met Goldie Hawn and Vincent Price, it is definitely a favorite of mine, so go and have the Frozen Hot Chocolate for me

Scarlett, this was so long ago when the boutique was upstairs. That year(to give you an example how long ago) I bought rose colored granny glasses there and have a picture of me wearing them downstairs with shelves of confiture, etc behind me. Later they opened one here in Fanuel Hall but It went out of business. nynvywfe, rake them and have a wonderful time.
