Yes, there are currently vehicle restrictions on the General's Highway limiting the length to 22 feet if coming in from Three Rivers.

I'm sure this will be extended into 2011 as they are nowhere near completion of the road construction.

Either, you will need to leave the trailer at someplace like Potwisha Campground and go in for the day or head up to Fresno and enter through the General Grant Grove in King's Canyon NP. Unless you are going in for at least 3 or 4 days, I don't think it's worth the hassle to bring a trailer up those narrow and steep roads. I think I would opt for the day trips from Potwisha.

We did a hike a Potwisha that was a pretty good hike. Potwisha was a pretty area with a stream running nearby. We didn't camp there, but looked nice.

Otis, thanks for that advice. Sounds like a day trip with just the truck would be better for Sequoia.
