Sensai (?) Sushi LV

I remember reading (not sure if on fodors or not) about a great sushi place in LV, called Sensai. Does anyone know if and where this is? Also, is it the same Sensai as in Hawaii, cuz if so all I can say is ....YUM!

We ate at Sensei in Bellagio, which is a restaurant of blended cultures, not what I would term a "sushi place".

Have you searched on www.cheapovegas.com? Nice directory there.

The one in Hawaii is called Sansei. At Bellagio there's a Sensi but it's not the same. There's a good Japanese restaurant we went to in Bellagio that serves sushi along with other Japanese meals, but it wasn't Sensi.

Shoot! All the misspelling is contagious. You're right, it is Sensi at Bellagio.

The bellagio.com website describes Sensi as an Italian/Asian/grill/seafood kind of place. Sushi is not mentioned. Under fine dining, the description of Shintaro is of a Japanese restaurant with sushi and teppan yaki.

I took a brief look at both Shintaro and Sensi this afternoon. Shintaro was closed but looked nice. I could see a sushi bar. The hours were 5:30 PM to 10PM (or thereabouts) and dress code was "business casual". I was told that that Sensi was not a fine dining place but a casual place. It looked nice, several well dressed people standing at the bar. Quite a variety on the Sensi menu: italian, grill, ... like the website said. Bellagio is fabulous.
