Senior SmarTrip Card for Washington DC
 

We will arrive at Washington Union Station and need to find the closest place to purchase this Card. It has to be purchased in person, not online.

The Metro Center sales office, at the 12th and F entrance. It has windows both inside and outside the faregates. Open weekdays 7:30am- 7:30pm,Saturday noon-6pm (no
sunday hours).
I guess you'd have to pay the regular fare (1.35) for the trip from Union station to Metro Center.

ok, that sounds easy! Now to figure out which color I get on to get to the Metro Center. I get on Red to get to our Hotel. How can I find out? We were just planning to go back and forth from our Hotel so I haven't researched anywhere else.

Union Dtation is three stops on the Red line from Metro Center. Why not take a look at the Metro map before you arrive
