Sell a vacation week
 

Is there a public forum where I can sell a vacation week in Hawaii? I booked a week through RCI at a timeshare in Princeville, June 14-21 of this year, but now our plans have changed and I want to post it for sale (7 days, 2 bedroom) for $1000. We paid $1500. I just don't know if there is a "market place" for these types of one time sales.

Try roomer travel.com. It got a good write up in NYTimes for hotel rooms.

You should be able to bank it and trade for another location at another time through RCI. If you change the reservation to somebody else, RCI is going to charge you a fee for a guest pass.

Redweek, timeshare users group(TUG), or eBay. A friend bought a week in Cancun on Redweek and had a great experience.

What Michelle Y said, also when I did an exchange with Interval for Cabo and changed my mind they cancelled and gave me a year to rebook anyplace else listed with them. Maybe RCI has something similar, can always ask them.
