Seeking affordable Oahu restaurants with great views

I've seen lots of postings regarding restaurants, but I haven't seen this specific question: Does anyone have any recommendations for Oahu restaurants with fabulous views where entrees are relatively affordable (let's say $10-20 per plate for dinner)? Or, if only more expensive restaurants have the best views, would you recommend just getting a drink at the one with the view and eating elsewhere? Your thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Try the Shorebird, in the Outrigger Reef on the Beach Hotel. Get there about 6:00 PM and you will see a gorgeous sunset. The reastaurant is right on the sand on the beach, and is very inexpensive. You get to cook you own entre there at a great big barbeque type place. There are cooks around to show you what you have to do. They have a trenmendous salad bar and very inexpensive drinks, as well as pretyy good entertainment. The highlight is the sunset and the cook your own meal.

Try Dukes next to the Royal Hawaiian. Right on the water and the meals ranged from $12 to $24. You will want reservations, but the seafood was so good we ate there twice in a week.

Or for drinks and snacks and the most incredible view and experience, go to the House Without a Key lounge on the beach at the Halekulani on Waikiki Beach. Music, a wonderful hula dancer (a former Miss Hawaii, I think), and the very best Mai Tai's in the world.

I second Postal's comments about House Without a Key at the Halekulani. They have a selection of appetizers and entrees in your price range. There is a menu on the website:

And the sunset view, ahhhh!

Enjoy!

Definitely Duke's at the Outrigger! They have a main dining room, and then the barefoot bar menu with less pricey choices. We ate there 3 times, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner...the food was good, and you can't beat the location on Waikiki.

Trythe Hanohano room in the Sheraton Hotel, its 30 stories up and has the best view of Waikiki beach & Diamond head...fantastic

Are there more than one Duke's in Oahu? Which one is the most popular?
