Seeger's is staying open

He received a loan and lots of support in the last two weeks. Sept. seems to be the time to go -

Food prices will come down as well — at least initially. Seeger will offer a three-course menu for $75 in September, which is more in line with other very expensive local restaurants. A full meal with wine and tip at Seeger's can easily top $300 per person.

My dear Starrsville, will you please satisfy my curiosity by posting the city name?

Maybe I will apply for a loan to dine there once :))

Starrsy is talking about a restaurant here in Atlanta, GA....it's been too pricey so haven't been but maybe my pal will treat me as a biz client ;)

Starrs--$300pp? Didn't you mean per couple?? If not, my tastebuds just aren't worth that kind of jack!

With wine, husband and I spent over $500 at Seeger's a few years ago. We haven't been back. It wasn't worth it.

padams, yowser...I wouldn't be back either!

Hey OWJ, let's talk.... :-)

The second paragraph is straight from the Atlanta Journal Constitution article. I suppose I should have cited the source. Not my words, in any case.

Starrs--Would love to get together with you. Let's plan something but maybe not Seeger's! I honestly don't know if I could enjoy a meal whose price tag I equate with airfare...I'm just not classy enough to go to such a high-fallutin (sp?) place ;)
