Sedona Questions

My husband and I are going to Sedona for 3 nights in October. I have booked a house on Brewer Road off the Y. It's about 2 miles from Airport Road. Is this house in a good location? Pictures on the website show a great view from the deck of the red rocks.
Also, has anyone done the Hot Air Balloon ride and do you recommend one balloon company over another? One jeep company over another? There a couple of choices for both balloon rides and jeep tours.

My husband and I went to Sedona last September. We took a Hot Air Baloon ride with Red Rock Balloon Adventures. I would definitely recommend them. You fly right over the Red Rocks. The other company looked like they just flew over trees. We also took the Broken Arrow tour with Pink Jeep Tours. I would definitely recommend them also. As for the Broken Arrow tour it was quite fun. I did find a post from a lady that took this tour needed surgery as result of the bumpy ride in the back seat. They also have more milder tours.

We did the Red Rock balloon thing and loved it; it's a must-do! Have done both the Pink Jeep and an alternative (can't remember the name) and both were great. In my opinion, 2 of the quintessential Sedona experiences. Also, horseback riding in the Cochonina National Forest is great.

We did Pink Jeep Tours too, and had a blast. Daring and exciting enough but not overwhelming lol Saw some interesting wildlife, too.

We also took some great pics on the tour, places only reached on the tours where automobile commercials have been filmed; the scenery is stunning!

Have a great time!
