Foothills has been in business for about ten years; they must be doing something right.
The house you booked does look good, and I doubt that they have faked the great views. What I would want to know is how near are other houses--I suspect "very."
I would ask the questions about your concerns of somebody in the booking office and I bet you will get accurate information.
I checked them out at the Better Business Bureau (http://www.bbb.org). They had one complaint in the past 36 months and no complaints in the past 12 months. The complaint was resolved.
Have a wonderful stay in Sedona.

I've rented homes in Sedona through another company and through private individuals. I also have looked at houses w/Foothills, and have called them for info. They were knowledable and helpful. The house you have booked looks nice. Are you familiar with the Sedona area? Your house is in Uptown Sedona, which means it is near the heavy tourist district.
Ask about proximity to the uptown tourist area when you call Foothills. You might be able to hear the traffic, depending on how far you are from Hwy 89A. Ask how far you are from Hwy 89A and how private the house is.
I much prefer to rent in the west Sedona area where it is more quiet. In any location that is classifed as "uptown", you are going to be in the thick of tourist traffic (as in tour buses and lots of pedestrian traffic) when you exit your neighborhood, on foot or in a car, onto Hwy 89A between late morning and evening. This is not big city traffic, but it is traffic as far as Sedona is concerned, and the uptown area is pretty "tourist tacky." However, you will likely be able to walk down to 89A to buy a newspaper in the morning and have breakfast. That makes the Uptown location appealing to many people.
It does look like a nice house, and you'll probably be fine and have a great time.

I looked at this house again this morning. As I said previously, I have rented there and have an idea of the rental market and costs, etc. I think your house is a pretty good value for the amenities it has. We rented a house in west Sedona for a week last Christmas-New Yrs for $1200 (from a private individual). It had great views of the red rocks (Coffee Pot area) out the front of the house, a hot tub and nice lounging area in back(but no view there), 3 bedrms w/private patio off of master and views from king master bed, tile floors, decent kitchen (although I had trouble w/the stove and couldn't reach the owner- she did not tel lme she hersefl was not going to be home or rechable that week), hiking trails right off the neighborhood (Airport Rd). We paid $1200 for the week.
But we didn't have the killer views from the hot tub that you will have, that great built in grill and outdoor fireplace, the nice big master bath w/two sinks and jacuzzi tub, wireless internet access, and that juniper column makes for a dramtic entrance at your place.
I'd still want to ask how far it is from 89A, and if you have to drive through the tourist strip on 89A every time you want to go anywhere in Sedona. But it really does look like a nice house w/special features for the money, and I have it bookmarked now for future consideration...

I don't know why the rental co. says this is in uptown Sedona!! It is NOT in Uptown. This house is in a great location, off to the side of the Raddison Poco Diablo Resort, off of 179, about a third of the way from the Village of Oak Creek to Sedona proper. Great location IMO, not busy at all. You should have nice views around there of Cathedral Rock and Bell Rock. You picked a winner.

jilkovina, you were lucky to go when you did. You can no longer rent a house for a week in Sedona (at least not legally through a rental company). Foothills site rentals reflect this. Only way to do a week now in a house is to do it (illegally) through a private owner who is willing to break the local law preventing short term rentals.
