Thinking of going to Sedona first or second week of September. Would weather be too hot to enjoy outdoor activities (hiking)? I know it is a dry climate, but not a big fan of heat...thanks!

Yes, it's likely to be in the low 90s F then but the humidity is low. Also, if you hike in the morning it's tolerable. Take a siesta in the afternoon and go out in the evening. The nighttime temps will likely be in the 60s F.

We hiked in the morning 3rd week of September this past year. No humidity so that’s a positive.
