sedona & phoenix in june

Hi-
we (my husband and 1 year old) are planning a trip to phoenix in June and were hoping to spend 2 days in sedona. any recommendations on where to stay? we are looking for comfort & good food. price is not an issue as long as it is worth it.

prices drop big time and 4-5* resorts that normally go for $700-$1k a night, are around $100+ a night.
In Phoenix, we like the Royal Palms, Phoenician, AZ Biltmore, Sanctuary and this year going to try the Inter-Continental Montelucia.
Food at the resorts is quite good.

Sedona, we just got back last week, we usually stay from the Enchantment Resort which is a 5* stunning property, to the Best Western Inn of Sedona which is a great 3.5 resort for around $100.
Sedona Rouge resort and spa is a great place to stay for under $150 a night.
Expedia.com is a great place to get prices and ideas.
I use them all the time for deals too.

"Sedona" plus "price is not an issue" equals "Enchantment Resort."

You will not regret it.

We enjoy the Briar Patch Inn--smack dab on Oak Creek. We rent the Casa De Piedra cabin and it has a stone fireplace and a lovely outside deck overlooking Oak Creek and the canyon walls. Plenty of room for the baby too. Delicious breakfasts as well. www.briarpatchinn.com

If the price is really not an issue, consider staying at one of the Adobe Grand Villas (http://www.adobegrandvillas.com/rooms-rates.htm ). That place is really worth its price if you like privacy and comfort. We just loved the interior decor of both bedrooms and the living room; there is even a real fireplace. This is a family friendly inn. I believe you will get some help from the hosts, if needed. Re good food, they offer gourmet and full breakfasts, which is already included in the regular rate.

I saw on expedia.com a couple of weeks ago room rates at Enchantment for around $250 a night!
From the usual $700-1k..that is one hell of a savings.
This is one of the most stunning resorts on planet earth.
Yavapai for lunch and dinner at the resort is excellent too.
Report back and have a great time!

At the Enchantment, we were totally pleased with the wonderful rooms that have the Murphy bed/living and kitchen area. The patio for those rooms is huge. Being on the patio surrounded by Boynton Canyon---amazing.
