Sedona # 2 hotel/resort

Assume for purposes of this question that the Enchantment is the number 1 resort in Sedona. What is the # 2 choice that has nice rooms, spacious grounds, nice pool area, nice views and is not as expensive as the Enchantment. In other words, what would be almost as nice as the Enchantment?

I don't know if you'd want my opinion because I haven't been to Sedona... YET. I too was looking for a nice place but really didn't want to spend $400 per night at Enchantment (rate we got for April 9-11th). I decided on the Hilton Sedona. The rooms (suite) look lovely and they were one of the few resorts that would guarantee a Red Rock view. The Orchards was another that did guranantee the view... but we didn't want to be right on a main street downtown. The Amara and quite a few others would not gurantee the view so I couldn't go with them. Some other only have views of trees, etc... which I see all of the time where I live. In any event, check out the Hilton Sedona.
Good Luck!

The creekside cabins at L'Auberge are the next most memorable rooms in Sedona.
They're large, essentially 1 BR suites, but I don't know that they're any cheaper than rooms at Enchantment.
The Orchards rooms at L'Auberge are not at all memorable in themselves, though the views are great.
Los Abrigados is not high on the list.
Those are the 3 places at which I've stayed there.

I have stayed at the Hilton Sedona and would definately return. It was close to hiking, the room was spacious(they are suites), the pool and hot tub were great and the conceirge was helpful. However, I have no idea what what hotel would be considered number 2.Good luck.

I have also stayed at the Hilton, and it was an enjoyable experience.
