sedona--last minute--where to stay starting F 8/24 for 4 nights?

On a whim, I just made plane reservations to go to a seminar in Sedona next week. Now I have to find a good place to stay . . . made reservations at the Hilton where the seminar is, but can cancel if I find something smaller, more B&B-like.

What I'm looking for . . .
*pool (small is ok) and/or jacuzzi--for soothing the creaky knees after hiking
*romantic setting
*views (of course)
*great bedding--for soothing creaky body after hiking

Any ideas? Thanks . . .

Valerie

Perhaps not available at last minute, but Canyon Villa Inn B & B is fantastic. Expensive but worth it!!! Romantic, views, pool, great food includes afternoon snacks. One of the best places to stay; highly rated in many guidebooks. Enjoy your stay.

Canyon Villa looks great, but they don't have four nights available in the same room. If it's REALLY spectacular, I could be convinced to change rooms mid-stay. Can you hike directly from there?

Yes we did short hikes right out the back door. We are not "hikers" so it was enough for us; I would enquire directly with the inn for more info. There are plenty of nearby hikes. The place really is fantastic.

I like the Sedona Rouge Hotel & Spa..great beds and rooms and for those hikes and they have a great spa.
The restaurant, Reds is really good too!
I see that they have it on Expedia for under $200 a night..or try direct.

Tahiti, Sedona Rouge is sold out for the two nights I'd really want. A Sunset Chateau (asunsetchateau.com) looks intriguing and they said they could give me a better price thant the website, I may do that. Still open to suggestions, though--wont' lock and load until tomorrow morning.

Thanks,

Valerie

Stayed at the Matterhorn in last month. Has what you're looking for for a decent rate... There's also lots of good travelers' reviews on TripAdvisor.
