Secret Shopper for Cruise Line/Resort

Does anyone have any experience with being solicited to be a secret shopper for a cruise line and resort? The brochure states there is a timeshare pitch you must listen to. Other than that, these are two large companies that I have heard of. Must decide soon, would appreciatea quick response.

I've never heard of this scam, but like many things related to time sharepitches: If it sounds fishy or too much like a scam, it probably is. I'd avoid this, but that's just my opinion

They're trying to scam you, or at the very least simply solicit you.
If they wanted your 'help' as a 'secret shopper', they wouldn't be trying to pitch you timeshares at the same time.
I wouldn't give it another thought.

Absolutely a scam!

I would be very suspicious also. Are you already a secret shopper? There are several reputable mystery shopper companies, however, you first must fill out an application and go through a series of steps before you are given an assignment. Plus, shoppers usually start out small and then 'earn' the opportunity for bigger jobs.

Did you receive this brochure in the mail? I would proceed very carefully. If you check the fine print on the brochure it may state that the purpose is for solicitation of a timeshare.
