Secret Beach/S.B. Hideaway

Oops.. I did not post in the Hawaii forum the first time!
I know all of these cottages are great, but given the choice, which one would you stay at? I'd love to hear from people who have actually stayed there.
A question about Secret Beach. Is it swimmable in the summer?
mahalo.

On your second question, Secret Beach has no fringing reef, and the surf is rough and the currents strong even in summer. Only on the calmest of days would I try to swim there.

I agree, I was at Secret Beach last fall (September) and it was way too rough to swim in. It was a little frightening!

I'm thinking of staying at the cottages in early November- is this is a mistake giving the weather? Should I play it safe and stay in South Kauai? Has anyone stayed there in winter months?

Cotes, I would only stay on the North Shore May thru early October. After that I would definitely stay down around Poipu, especially if you want to swim in the ocean!
