Second City - Chicago

Going to Chicago in mid-October. I remember going to Second City about 25 years ago (only other time I've been in Chicago) and I really enjoyed it. Then it was just a basic "improv" show. Now it looks like they have a couple of different scripted shows. Is it still as good as it used to be? Worth spending one of three evenings there?

Richard - Second City is ALWAYS worth a couple of hours! The shows are scripted, however, after some of them, they do offer improv with suggestions from the audience.

I was in Chicago in June and saw the Second City main stage show. It was very funny and definitely worth seeing. I would highly recommend it.

Thanks, Peep and Cheryl. I will definitely take in the main show.

And get your tics early. We were there in August thinking we could buy them same day....OOPS...They were sold out for the weekend shows that would fit our schedule. We've been 3-4 times and have enjoyed each visit.<BR>kal
