Seattle - What to do on a MONDAY

I will be in Seattle on Monday Sept. 28 thru Friday This is my 2nd time, but Seattle is still very new for me.

I get into Seattle around 7:30 am so by 9:30 I will be leaving my b&b and will be ready to go ... but where?

There are so many places closed on Monday! I was hoping to go to the conservatory at Volunteer park, but I just saw it is closed on Mondays, Paseo and Salumi closed on Mondays, Pike Mrkt is good for a few hours ... but I just don't know what to do with myself all day.

Any suggestions?

(The rest of my week will be quite busy: Photo Tour, Savour Seattle Tour, Wiked at the Paramount, Trip to Freemont and Paseo, Volunteer Park Conservatory)

How about a float plane sightseeing trip, good for an hour or so and if the weather is nice, some fantastic views of Puget Sound, Mt. Ranier and more.
Or, grab a picnic lunch and head for a park just to enjoy the views and the weather (if it's nice).
Or, a ferry to Bainbridge Island and wander aroung there for a bit. There is a winery not more than a mile or so from the ferry landing.
Was there on Aug 27-28 and had sun and 70-plus degree weather!

The ferry ride to Bainbridge Island is lots of fun, we did the Ride The Ducks Tour when we were in Seattle earlier this summer and had alot of fun on this, it goes out onto Lake Union. ***kim***((*))

The Island sounds like a good plan - Any "must sees"? What is the name of the winery?

I did the Duck in Boston. It is fun ... maybe I will do it again.

St Michelle in Woodinville? (that's the name of one well-known winery)

Wow you're right. SAM downtown, SAM Asian Volunteer Park, and the Frye museums are all closed Mondays. Never knew that!
