Seattle to southern Vermont

I'm looking for creative routing this summer from Seattle and somehow getting me near to Brattleboro VT (if I get close enough someone will come pick me up).

Into Bradlee/Hartford and rent a car is the obvious answer. Those flights require one plane change mid-country (Chicago, Detriot). But then the drive is straight up the highway north (done it many times).

There are nonstops on Alaska to Boston but then a longer crazier drive and one I am not familiar with.

I'm wondering about somehow getting myself in via smaller plane for the last hop, say Boston to somewhere like Keene NH or Bennington VT? Is this possible or crazy talk?

Thank you for any ideas and suggestions and reading my wordy post. Kindly, Suze

Seattle - XXX - Albany, then 90 min. by car. Can't find any other closer airports than ALB or BDL.

XXX can be Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Dallas, depending on which airline.

Lebanon, NH?

Have a look at Southwest to Manchester, NH. Driving time/distance to Brattleboro is about the same. Southwest also flies to Hartford.

Car rentals may be more economical in Manchester, NH.

Thanks everyone. Sounds like the drive will be 1-1/2 hr. regardless. I'll do some pricing for flights/car.

Since I'm traveling alone and will have done the 2 flights cross-country, add 3 hr time change, was worried about hitting the highway after. Perhaps will look into staying at an airport hotel and driving the next morning.
